Assalamualaikum, My name is Anum Nasirullah and I have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and over 11 years of experience working in IT consulting as a software engineer, developing enterprise applications in healthcare, energy, and financial sectors. This year, I will be the technology teacher for middle and high school students, and I’m excited to inspire the next generation of innovators by bringing real-world technology skills into the classroom. I grew up in New York and Pennsylvania and moved to Charlotte, NC in 2018 after getting married. I have a 5-year-old son who will be starting Kindergarten this year. Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring the outdoors. My strong work ethic, adaptability, and enthusiasm for empowering students make me proud to be part of the Charlotte Islamic Academy community.
