Hala Elhabash

Kindergarten Teacher

Assalamu Alaikum!

My name is Hala Elhabash, and I am honored and excited to be one of your child’s Kindergarten teachers this year at Charlotte Islamic Academy! This is my second year teaching at CIA, and I’m truly grateful to be back and working with children. I am Palestinian American, I was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky , and I’ve called North Carolina home for the past 17 1/2 years. My husband, Saad, and I have been married for 17 years, and together we have three wonderful daughters Layan (15)Zayn (12)and Hana (10)—all of whom also attend Charlotte Islamic Academy. They bring us so much joy and keep our lives full of energy and activity!

When I’m not at school, you’ll often find me cheering on my girls at gymnastics or volleyball, spending time with family and friends, or playing with our newly adopted kitten, Pumpkin! As a family, we love to travel and explore new places, we’re always up for an adventure.

My goal this year is to partner with you in supporting your child’s growth both academically and emotionally. I will love and care for your child as if they were my own, and I strive to create a warm, nurturing environment that inspires a lifelong love of learning.

Please feel free to reach out at any time with questions or concerns. I look forward to an amazing school year ahead, insha’Allah!
