Math Teacher

Assalamu Alaikum,

My name is Mrs. Maysaa Khalaf, and this is my third year teaching at Charlotte Islamic Academy. I have bachelor of art in sociology and more than 10 years experience of teaching Arabic and math. I serve as a math teacher, working with students to build not only strong mathematical skills but also a love for problem-solving and critical thinking. I am originally from Lebanon and I visit there often to stay connected with my family and heritage. Outside the classroom, I enjoy exploring new teaching strategies, engaging in community activities, and continuing my own learning to better serve my students. My goal is to create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive academically and personally.
