Faiza Masoud
Middle & High School Quran & Islamic Studies
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
My name is Faiza Masoud, and I am honored to serve as a dedicated educator in the field of Islamic Studies and Quran. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Islamic Studies and English from an Islamic college, as well as a Master's Degree in Translation. Teaching is my passion, and Alhamdulillah, I have been blessed to teach at Charlotte Islamic Academy for 26 years, making me one of the longest-serving teachers at the school. It has been a deeply fulfilling journey, and I look forward to continuing to give my best in the years ahead, In Shaa Allah. My mission as an educator is to inspire students to love Allah (SWT), our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and to take pride in their Muslim identities. I aim to empower my students to become lifelong learners and critical thinkers who strive for success in both this world and the Hereafter. I am committed to creating a safe, fun, and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child can succeed with the right guidance and encouragement. I strive to foster a collaborative classroom atmosphere where students feel confident asking questions and exploring new ideas. I also incorporate technology into my teaching to enhance learning and engagement, and I adapt my methods to support various learning styles and needs. It is a privilege to help shape the next generation of Muslim leaders, and I ask Allah (SWT) to accept this effort and make it a source of barakah, Ameen.
