First Grade Teacher

Asalamu Alaikum! My name is Hala Atwan, and I am delighted to join the team at Charlotte Islamic Academy. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and have spent the past two and a half years working with elementary students. I believe that every child has unique strengths and endless potential. My teaching approach focuses on creating a warm, respectful classroom where students feel valued, encouraged, and inspired to try their best every day. I am committed to helping each child grow academically and personally while making learning an enjoyable experience. I am excited to begin this new chapter and look forward to a wonderful year ahead with my students and their families!
