Hana Alborno

Front Office Secretary & Art Teacher

My name is Hana, and I’ve been an artist since I was seven years old. Art has always been my way of connecting with the world expressing feelings, exploring ideas, and finding beauty in both chaos and calm. I hold an Associate in Arts from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte and studied Art Therapy in the peaceful surroundings of Maui, Hawaii.

Working in the front office allows me to greet students each morning and build relationships with their families, while also being available to support children who are hurt or in need of care during the school day.

My artistic focus is abstract art, where I find the most freedom and joy in creating. I’m deeply inspired by nature, feeling the energy of the ocean, or simply hugging a tree, these moments remind me of the beauty and connection that art can reflect.

Being at this school gives me the amazing opportunity to help children discover their own creative voices. Through fun, hands-on art activities especially inspired by the rich traditions of Islamic art.  I aim to help students see the best version of themselves and develop confidence in both their artistic and personal journeys.
